Hello girls!! 

I got the opportunity to attend Azam Raya Bersama Watsons event last month by Nuffnang, but unfortunately I have SPA exam on the same day. Whatever it is, I will blog about this event for you guys to know what will happen during Raya sale.

This Ramadan Malaysians have more reasons to celebrate Aidilfitri, as leading health and beauty retail brand, Watsons Personal Care Stores Sdn Bhd announces its unique campaign on ‘Look Good, Feel Great’ beauty resolutions for Raya today.

Titled as Azam Raya Bersama Watsons, the month-long festive campaign encourages Malaysians to share their Raya resolutions in its facebook page, Inspired by the resolutions posted over a period of six weeks, the renowned Malaysian singer, songwriter and television personality Faizal Tahir, who is also the appointed celebrity ambassador of Azam Raya Bersama Watsons campaign, will compose a unique Raya song, which will be launched at the open house celebration organised by Watsons in September. For each resolution posted, Watsons will present RM5 worth beauty care vouchers to the participants during the campaign. Faizal will also perform at the open house of one of the lucky participants who will be selected based on the Azam post. Watsons will also sponsor the whole open house in terms of catering, right at the home of the winner!

Concurrently, there will be a major Raya Sale happening from 18 July to 2 September at all Watsons outlets in the Peninsular Malaysia and 25 July to 9 September at all Watsons outlets in Sabah and Sarawak. On top of that, customers who purchase RM30 and above from Watsons participating brands during that period can also get tickets to attend Watsons Hari Raya Celebration with Faizal Tahir on 6 September 2013 at Plaza Angsana, Johor Bahru!

Speaking during the Chit Chat session at the launch, Director of Marketing and Business of Watsons Personal Care Stores Sdn Bhd, Jessica Ng said, “The holy month of Ramadan is a meaningful time for everyone as it signifies spiritual renewal, a joyous time for giving and sharing with the human kind for the sake of good. In keeping with the spirit of this festive season, Watsons is happy to share our new campaign Azam Raya Bersama Watsons, with an objective to provide a platform to our valuable customers to share their Azam and inspire one another with uplifting stories. What’s more exciting is that our celebrity ambassador Faizal Tahir will compose an exclusive Raya song by seeking inspiration from the Azam posted on our dedicated facebook page.

The campaign is open from 18 July till Raya. Based on the pledges received, Faizal Tahir will write the lyrics and compose the tune for recording the song using inspirations from the Azam received. The song will be aired just before Hari Raya on major TV and Radio stations, and also made available through and YouTube.

Jessica added, “At Watsons, they endeavor to reach out to their customers and members of the public through various interactive channels. In keeping with our strategy, they are deploying new media alongside social media, print, radio and television for greater reach and impact. The underlying objective is to engage with all Malaysians, to encourage them to pledge Raya resolutions and inspire a new Raya song”.

It is an opportunity to inspire composition of a unique Raya song that will capture the joyous mood and spiritual good of our country during the holy month of Ramadan. I am thrilled to be part of Azam Raya Bersama Watsons campaign as I want to compose a song for Malaysians, contributed by Malaysians. Every Azam counts because the more you share, the more inspiration I will seek to compose a heartwarming Raya song”.

The holy month of Ramadan is also a time to acknowledge that we are given the amanah by God to take care of our body and we should resolve to do whatever it takes to take control and be healthy. In keeping with this, Watsons will also launch attractive promotions on skin care, health and beauty products in conjunction with Azam Raya Bersama Watsons campaign in the month of Ramadan.
